Wildforest Honey


Intensely aromatic chestnut and oak tree honey from the dense forests of central Rhodope. Rich in nutrients and with strong antioxidant effects. It is produced from the nectar and honey dew of chestnut which is considered a good beekeeping plant and quite popular in the mountains of Greece. The chestnut and oak honey has a slightly bitter flavour which overpowers the taste of other honeys. Slowly crystallized in 1 up to 2 years.

The vitamins of the honey facilitate the absorption of sugars. It has furthermore antiseptic properties (assists in healing, cleansing and disinfection of wounds), acts energetic, increases the heart rhythm function, reduces stomach ulcers and helps the rehabilitation in cases of anemia due to its containing ferrous.
